Sew The Show Prize Pack!

Sorry for the lack of posts this month. March is always hard for me. Anyway, I’m gearing up for Sew The Show and today is the day I get to reveal to you our awesome Sew The Show Prize Pack for March! Remember, the show is Boardwalk Empire:

Sew The Show: Boardwalk Empire!

The Winner Will Receive:

$50 Store Credit to Cali Fabrics

Cali Fabrics Giveaway!

Clockwise from top left: Gold Beaded Bridal Lace, Floral Brocade, Gold Sequined Fabric, Blue Medallion Lace

I found Cali Fabrics on Instagram and fell in love. They have such an amazing variety of beautiful fabrics. I am absolutely in love with their selection of brocades. I have no idea what I would do with any of it and yet I want it all. They have been gracious enough to give away a $50 gift card for Sew The Show so make sure to pop over to their Facebook page and thank them with a Like!

I reached out to Melissa of Pattern Anthology for this giveaway because I love the deep v-neck on this top. The neckline and flutter sleeves are very 1920s but the top is casual so you can wear it every day. I sewed my version of this top for the challenge, which I’ll reveal as soon as it stops pouring rain here and I can get some decent pictures.

The Linky Party will be open Monday March 23- March 30 at 11:59pm EST. Remember, your look does not have to be a 1920s costume, it just has to be inspired by that time period and Boardwalk Empire. Have fun with it! Sew a lacy headband, a fancy shawl. It doesn’t have to be over the top! Tell me, what are you sewing for Boardwalk Empire?

  1. Just froze my tush off taking pictures on my neighbors front porch! My look is more like a 20’s school teacher or secretary. Not glam at all but ever practical.

  2. I loooooooove Cali Fabrics. I went into their bricks and mortar shop when I lived in San Francisco this summer. Total kid in a candy shop. I’ve gotten lots of my favorite prints from them 🙂
