Calling All Kids Day 3

They say great minds think alike, and we’ve been seeing a lot of that around here the last 3 days! The first day, both bloggers used similar color pallets, the second day both bloggers made dress up clothes, and today, well, you’ll see below.

First up is Melissa from Melly Sews. She’s a great friend and gives great advice. (Also, she knows everything!) She’s one of the most talented pattern makers around. I have sewed almost every pattern in her pattern shop and I have never been disappointed once. She just released a new dress pattern, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it! (See below, it’s gorgeous and so is she!)

Here’s a sneak peek at what Melissa created. Oh man, I love boys in purple! It looks great on him too! Make sure you click through to see more of this cutie!

Next up, we have Suzanne from Pattern Revolution. She is an amazing photographer, seamstress and blogger, and she does it all with three small children! (And she has twins, bless her. I don’t know how she does it.)

And y’all, I can’t even. This shirt is so awesome. It’s so perfect for Calling All Kids! I know plenty of little boys who love butterflies, and why wouldn’t they? Butterflies are awesome. And they’re BUGS, so totally not girly right? Go see more about this butterfly shirt on Pattern Revolution!

  1. I have had my eye on some of the new striped knits at Girl Charlee. They have summer shirts for the kiddos written all over them!

I love feedback! What did you think of this article?
