The Norah Dress

Hey y’all! Today I’m part of the Norah Dress Pattern tour on Welcome to the Mouse House!  Can ya stand the excitement over there?!??
I have a confession: I’m totally smitten with sherpa fabric right now. I bought 2 yards of it a while back, and I’ve used it on pretty much every project since!  Do you know how much 2 yards of sherpa is?!  A LOT, that’s how much.
Now on to the pattern: I absolutely love it! Going by measurements Ellie should wear a 2t, but I had a feeling I was really going to love this piece so I made it a 3t so she can wear it again next year!
***PRO TIP*** I always make sleeves and pants legs about 2 inches longer than the pattern suggests.  Then I hem it TWICE.  When it gets too short I pick the seam on the outer hem and BOOM, I’ve just added 2 inches to it AND it’s already hemmed!  Now you know my little secret 😉
The yummy charcoal chambray is from Michael Levine, the sherpa is from Joann Fabrics, and the leather for the collar cinch is from Leather Hide Store.
Thanks for having me Hayley!
