Man, I’m on a pattern-testing roll!
This time, I tested the Pleated Playsuit by Heidi of Elegance and Elephants
Despite Char’s face in these photos, she loves her new playsuit.  She’s been begging me to make her something with this vintage linen ever since she laid eyes on it.
I’m in love with the pockets!  They make the outfit seem so cool and effortless.
The pleat in the front is my favorite, and it’s really not that much work!  Who knew?
For the contrasting fabric I used the orange paperclip fabric by Julia Rothman.  Why?  Because it’s kinda kooky.  And I’m kooky.  Obvi.
My little flower child found some wild strawberries growing in the woods.  She wanted eat them, but I wouldn’t let her.  Thus the grump face.
Back to the pattern…it’ll be out tomorrow, and it’s FREE.  Go to Elegance and Elephants for more info!
